Key Changes Music Therapy is a local Winchester based charity that focuses on providing music therapy to people across Hampshire. They enable those who have difficulty communicating to find a ‘voice’ through the power of music and music-making, helping them to connect with those around them, and to reach their potential. Carers and families of those referred witness the positive impact that music used therapeutically has on their emotional wellbeing and overall development.
Belgarum staff chose the deserving charity to sponsor throughout 2016. So we have come up with an imaginative way to ensure we raise some much needed funds for them. This year the Belgarum staff will be taking part in the FuddyMudSucker a 10km challenge through muddy obstacle course that takes place in Southampton on Sunday 9th October.
This fun event looks set to be a tough endurance course that will challenge our staff to really push themselves to their limits what with the heavy mud, obstacles set over water and the varying terrain along the way.
Our aim is to raise as much sponsorship and awareness as possible through taking part in this event, with ten members of the Belgarum team from both our Sales and Lettings office we hope to be able to make a real difference. As local members of the community we enjoy working with those around us that are in need of a helping hand. Events such as this enable us to work hard to raise much needed funds for the charity we support and by us slogging along this course we hope to help them as much as we can.
