A popular village three miles to the South of Winchester. Mentioned in the 1086 Domesday Book as 'Tuiforde' the village is home to the oldest independent preparatory boarding and day school in the country. There is a mix of period and modern properties surrounded by countryside, water meadows and the river Itchen. As well as good local amenities and two pubs the village hosts Graze, a music, food and arts festival.
