Approximately eight miles North of Winchester this parish actually comprises of five hamlets Sutton Scotney, Wonston, Stoke Charity, Norton and Hunton. There are plenty of local facilities serving the villages including two welcoming pubs, the Coach & Horses in Sutton Scotney dating back to 1762 and The Wonston that is run as a community project.
